Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Waffles

These freeze very well so we always have some on hand for a quick breakfast. 20 seconds in the microwave and we're eating something healthy!!!

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
2 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
cooking spray or melted butter
diced bananas
Directions
  1. In a bowl of an electric mixer fitted with paddle attachment, combine first 9
  2. ingredients.
  3. Preheat a waffle iron. When it is hot, spray its surface lightly with cooking
  4. spray or brush with butter.
  5. Fill a ladle with batter and pour into waffle iron. Cook until waffle is golden
  6. brown.
  7. Serve hot with maple syrup and diced bananas.
