Chinese Fried Rice

This wonderful fried rice is a meal in itself and takes only about 10 minutes to cook once everything is prepared.

Ingredients
For boiling rice
1 tbsp. butter
1-3/4 cups water
1 tsp. salt
1-1/4 long grain rice
Remaining ingredents
2 eggs
1 cup peas
1/2 tsp. salt
A cube fresh giner root
1 clove carlic
1/2 small head of Chinese cabbage
1/2 lb. peeled small shrimp
2/3 cup water or chicke broth
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 small onion
1 tbsp. vegetabel oil
Directions
  1. Melt the butter in a big saucepan over low heat. Add the rice, stir well, and cook for a few minutes, until transparent.
  2. Add the water and salt; bring to a boil. Stir once, put a lid on the pan, and cook the rice for 15 to 20 minutes. The rice is cooked when it is tender and has absorbed all the water.
  3. Cook the peas in boiling, slightly salted water for 5 minutes, then drain.
  4. Pell the ginger and chop it finely. Pell and crush the garlic. Slice the onion and the Chinese cabbage.
  5. Heat oil in a large skillet and fry the onion, garlic, and ginger in it gently, stirring constantly got about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the Chinese cabbage to the skillet. Cook it over high heat for about a minute, stirring all the time.
  7. Add the rice, water, amd soy sauce, then the shrimp and peas. Stir everything together and cook it for a few minutes.
  8. Beat the eggs. Make a hollow in the rice, pour in the egss, and cook them for a few minutes, then stir them into the rice.
